About Us

We are a voluntary lead, not for profit canine café and community wellbeing hub - located in the heart of Solihull.

Passionate about improving the lives of local people, we build a healthier and happier community with the helping paws of our resident therapy & emotional support dogs.

We host a diverse range of activities and events. From children's birthday parties to puppy yoga, woof-day and gotcha parties for pooches, to holiday clubs, dog training & beyond! Whatever we do, we do with passion and with wellbeing in mind.

Our café provides a range of snacks for both two and four legged customers, as well as a relaxed space where kids can run around, get involved in running the café, or simply have the pleasure of snuggle time with our resident pooches & other visiting dogs.

When you buy from us you are supporting the services of our therapy dogs, who visit homes, schools, care homes & hospitals providing emotional and psychological support to those who need it most.

Our Mission

To improve the mental and physical health and wellbeing of both humans and canines through the power of positive and symbiotic relationships.

All of our profits are given to our charitable services, enabling us to provide vital care for dogs and humans alike including:

Therapy dogs to the sick and vulnerable.

Hospital services to keep patients and their dogs together.

Guide dogs for the visually impaired.

Mental health support workers for owners who need a little help.

Our Founder

Sarah is an inspiration to all of us here at The Snooty Pooch.

Not only does she look after all the pooches and hoomans here at the café, she works alongside other community groups, volunteers, schools, hospitals and charities, to bring about equal opportunity, fair access and support in helping their organisations thrive.

With all of Sarah's hard work, care and passion for helping others it is not surprising that she is a British Empire Medal (BEM) holder and has been awarded The Queen's Award for Voluntary Service (MBE)

Here, at The Snooty Pooch we are beyond proud of Sarah and all of her accomplishments.
